San Francisco 49ers vs. New England Patriots Betting – NFL Week 7, 2020The San Francisco 49ers bounced back from a two-game losing run with a low-scoring home victory over the divisional rivals Los Angeles Rams. This win meant so much to the last year’s Super Bowl participants as their NFC West division looks stronger than ever. Namely, all four teams have .500 or above, and the 49ers returned to .500 with this victory over the Rams, while the Seattle Seahawks are lonely at the top with a 5-0 record.

It was New England’s second defeat in a row and third in four games following a bright start to the season, and now they dropped to a 2-3 record and 3rd place in the AFC East. The Patriots are the 25th team in the NFL when it comes to the offense with 21.8 points per game, 25th in passing yards (207.2), 2nd in rushing yards (167.2), while they have the 10th defense that allows 22.0 points per contest.
Even though I believe the Patriots will shake off this pathetic performance and produce a way better offensive display against the 49ers, I am not going to back them in this one. It’s clear that they have issues on offense and that the defense cannot bail them out every time. With just 22 points in the last two games combined, New England should be lucky to score 17+ against the 49ers on Sunday. Both teams have top 10 defenses, while their respective offenses are not among the top 20 on the NFL, so it’s clear as far as I am concerned – this game is going to be a low-scoring affair
